Tomato 'Mexico Midget'

25 seeds. 65 days. Solanum lycopersicum. Indeterminate.

'Mexico Midget' is one of the first tomatoes we harvest from the garden because it is so early. The small, red cherry tomato fruits are full of robust, sweet, and tangy flavor. The tang has not been bred out of this Mexican heirloom, unlike many modern varieties. The plants are prolific.

Sowing Tomato Seeds:

Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/8 inch deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Plant tomatoes deep in the soil for a better root structure. Space 3 feet apart. Full sun.
