Tomato 'Eva Purple Ball' is very productive and disease resistant. It has purple-pink skin with red flesh. This German heirloom was brought to New Jersey by immigrants in the late 19th century. Fruits weigh about 5 ounces.


Spacing 3 feet.


Sowing Tomato Seeds:


Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/8 inch deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date.  Plant tomatoes deep in the soil for a better root structure. Space 3 feet apart. Full sun.
