Tomato 'Abe Lincoln Original' has large red fruits with smooth texture and well-balanced flavor. It is one of the largest red tomato varieties we sell. It has fewer seeds than most tomatoes. It is not a productive variety, but it sure is tasty. We got our original seeds from Baker Creek.

Sowing Tomato Seeds: 
 
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/8 inch deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date.  Plant tomatoes deep in the soil for a better root structure. Space 3 feet apart. Full sun.
