Tomato 'Dr. Wyche's Yellow' has large, golden beefsteak fruits that are sweet with an almost tropical taste. The meaty fruits are great for fresh slicing and eating. The plants are not the most productive, but the fruits can weigh up to 20 ounces. This heirloom is named in honor of Dr. John Wyche.
 
Sowing Tomato Seeds: 
 
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/8 inch deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Plant tomatoes deep in the soil for a better root structure. Space 3 feet apart. Full sun.
