25 seeds. 85 days. Solanum lycopersicum. Indeterminate.
Tomato 'Summer Cider' has very large apricot-colored fruits that weigh close to a pound! It has a fruity flavor with very little acidity, and the flesh is creamy with few seeds. The plants start producing a little late in the season, but it is worth waiting for because it is one of the best yellow tomatoes on the market. It is a potato-leaf variety.
Sowing Tomato Seeds:
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/8 inch deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Plant tomatoes deep in the soil for a better root structure. Space 3 feet apart. Full sun.
