Pepper 'Neapolitan' is produces extra-early in the season making it ideal for regions with shorter seasons. The thin-walled fruits are 4 inches long by 2 inches wide. The flavor is sweet and mild. Neapolitian is an Italian-American heirloom. It was introduced in 1904 by a New Jersey seed company.
Sowing Peppers Seeds:
Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/4 inch deep. Transplant the peppers 2 weeks after the last frost date or when there is no hint of frost. Space 15 inches apart. Full sun.
