Broccoli 'Green Sprouting Calabrese' has 4-inch blue-green crowns with many side shoots. After the main head is cut it will produce an abundance side shoots. We enjoyed the side shoots up until a hard frost made them inedible. An 1800s heirloom from Calabria, Italy.

Sow broccoli seeds 6 weeks before the last frost date and transplant near the last frost date. Or sow outdoors 2 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/4 inch deep. Full sun.
