50 seeds. 75 days. Capsicum annuum. Tender perennial.
Pepper 'Corno di Toro Rosso' has a wonderful sweet and slightly spicy flavor. This large pepper grows to about 8 inches long, darkening to deep red. Its name means "red horn of the bull." This Italian heirloom is one of the best we have ever tried. It needs a long season to fully mature.
Sowing Peppers Seeds:
Sow seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/4 inch deep. Transplant the peppers 2 weeks after the last frost date or when there is no hint of frost. Space 15 inches apart. Full sun.
