Radish 'Shunkyo' is one of the best radishes I have ever grown. It has rose-pink, 5-inch long roots with fine texture and flavor. It matures later than other spring radishes such as French Breakfast. It is a more bolt resistant and heat tolerant too. Shunkyo radish originates from China.
 
Sowing Radish Seeds: 
 
Sow seeds outside in early spring or fall. Sow on the surface and barely cover the seeds. Keep consistently moist until germination. Thin to 2 inches apart. Full sun.
