Lettuce 'Blushed Butter Oak' is one of our sweeter lettuces. It has beautiful oak-shaped leaves with a pinkish-red blush. I was the best tasting variety in our 2025 taste tests. This open-pollinated variety was breed and introduced by Frank Morton of Wild Garden Seeds. A cold-hearty selection.
 
Sowing Lettuce Seeds: 
 
Sow seeds on the surface of the soil in early spring and lightly cover with soil. Thin to 10 inches apart. Full sun to part shade.
