Lettuce 'Bronze Arrow' has beautiful, bronze-red and green leaves. Bronze Arrow is one of the sweetest lettuces I have tasted. It really surprised me how sweet it was compared to the other 4 lettuces we grew in the spring of 2023. It is the slowest to bolt lettuce I have ever grown. Our original seeds were purchased from John Jeavons, the teacher of biointensive farming and grown in our gardens ever since.
   
Sowing Lettuce Seeds: 
 
Sow seeds on the surface of the soil in early spring and lightly cover with soil. Thin to 10 inches apart. Full sun to part shade.
