Bean 'Gold of Bacau' is a buttery wax bean with wide flat pods. It has excellent flavor and has been a staple in our garden since I was a child.  Best fresh, not frozen. They are relatively stringless when picked small and have moderate productivity. This rare heirloom bean is from Bacau, Romania.
 
Sowing Pole Bean Seeds:
 
Sow beans outdoors 2 weeks after the last frost date under a trellis. Sow 1 inch deep and 3 inches apart. Full sun.
