Bean 'Calima' is a 7-inch long French fillet bean. The pencil thin pods are round with a sweet flavor. It is the most productive bush bean I have grown to date. It is a good candidate for canning and freezing. Open-pollinated.
 
Sowing Bush Bean Seeds:
 
Sow beans outdoors 2 weeks after the last frost date when the soil is warm. Sow 1 inch deep and 3 inches apart in rows spaced 2 feet apart. Full sun.
