Lychnis 'Feuer' has clusters of jewel-pink flowers with grass like foliage. It blooms in late spring at the same time as Hesperis 'Alba' and Dracocephalum, which is in the background of our pictures. It makes a good front of the boarder plant. Deer resistant. Hardy to zones 3-8.
Afternoon shade is recommended for Lychnis in hot climates. The name 'Feuer' means 'Fire' in German. Also known as Lychnis viscaria splendens 'Feuer'.
