Alluim christophii has large firework-type blooms in late spring. We like to combine it with Allium 'PurpleSensation', which blooms right before it, for a longer flower display. It make an excellent cut flower that will last days. Also known as Star of Persia and Allium albopilosum. It is hardy to zones 4 through 9 and deer resistant.

Sowing Allium Seeds:
Allium christophii requires cold-moist stratification. Sow seeds outdoors in a large pot in late fall or winter. Barely cover the seeds. Keep in a cold place until spring. Full sun.
