Aster alpinus 'Goliath' has lavender-blue flowers with yellow and green centers. It blooms in early summer with flowers that are large for its species. It is very attractive to both bees and butterflies. The short plant looks lovey near the front of the garden border. It is both deer resistant and drought tolerant. Open-pollinated.
