Common Sage is often used to flavor pot roasts and strong meats. I esspecially like rubbed into game such as deer and elk. It is easy to dry for later use as well. Simply lay the sage leaves out on a plate or window screen to dry in a warm place.

Start sage seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Or sow outdoors after the last frost. Barely cover the seeds with soil. Full sun.
