Campanula 'Brantwood' has tall spikes with large purple flowers. It blooms in early summer. It is an excellent choice for the back of your garden bed because of its height. It is a shade tolerant perennial. In my garden, it sometimes falls over when grown in the shade and needs a little support. Campanula latifolia is deer resistant. Also known as Greater Bellflower.
