'House' is a micro dwarf tomato with small cherry fruits. The flavor is juicy with a little tang. I like to grow my plants indoors all-year-round. It is really special to be eating homegrown tomatoes in the middle of January. The plants start fruiting around 8 inches tall. The plants will continue to grow slowly and may get a little tall in winter from lack of light. My one year old plants are 15 inches tall.
 
The plants will need to be repoted if the leaves start to fall off, which indicates the tomato plant has used up the nutrients in the soil. This unusual heirloom tomato was given to the J. L. Hudson seed bank by Curtis Androsoff who said that his grandmother brought the seeds to Canada in 1893 from Tbilsi, Russia.

Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/8 inch deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Or grow next to a sunny window. Plant tomatoes deep in the soil for a better root structure. Space 15 inches apart. Full sun.
