Pea 'Golden Sweet'

Pea 'Golden Sweet' has 3-inch, flat, bright yellow pods and two-toned purple flowers. The pods are good for adding to a stirfry, and the flowers are a feast for the eyes. The long vines of this unusual-colored pea are best trellised. Originally from India.

 

Height 6 feet long.

 

Sowing Pea Seeds:

 

Soak seeds overnight. Sow in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Sow 1/2 to 1 inch deep and 2 inches apart on a trellis or post. Double rows of peas can be planted on a trellis with rows 6 inches apart. Full sun.
