Marigold 'Lemon Gem' is a small mounding plant with a profusion of single bright yellow blooms with a citrus fragrance. The foliage is fine and lacy. The pedals and the leaves are edible. Remove the pedals from flower base before consuming. Lemon Gem makes a fine little hedge or edging. Also known as signet marigold and Mexican marigold.
