Tomato 'Black Krim' has 8-ounce beefsteak fruits that are brown-red with green shoulders. It is very productive. The fruit have an excellent flavor that tastes salty, sweet and smoky all at the same time. This heirloom tomato comes from the Crimean peninsula near the Black Sea.
 
Sowing Tomato Seeds: 
 
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date, 1/8 inch deep. Transplant outside 2 weeks after the last frost date. Plant tomatoes deep in the soil for a better root structure. Space 3 feet apart. Full sun.
