Cilantro 'Leisure' is a zesty, versatile herb that is productive and slow to bolt. The leaves are used in Indian and Mexican cooking. It is often added to fresh salsas. The seeds, known as coriander, are ground and added to spicy dishes, such as curry. Leaves are ready to harvest in 55 days. Seeds mature in 100 days.

 

You may coarsely grind your own coriander with a mortar and pestle or finely grind it with a coffee grinder. Freshly ground coriander is more potent than ground coriander from the store. 

 

Height 16 inches. Spacing 4 inches.

 

Sowing Cilantro Seeds: 

 

Direct sow seeds 1/4 inch deep in late spring or early summer after the frost date. Thin to 4 inches apart and space rows 12 inches apart. Full sun.
