'Siam Queen' is a unique basil with green leaves and dark purple flowering stems. The fragrant leaves taste almost like licorice and are known to hold up better in cooking than other basil varieties. This open-pollinated variety was an All-American Selections winner in 1997.

Sowing Basil Seeds: 
 
Sow basil indoors 6 weeks before the last frost date, 1/8 inch deep. Transplant 2 weeks after the last frost date. Or direct sow outside after there is no chance of frost. Thin to 10 inches apart. Full sun.
