Grow your own Cinderella carriage, and maybe all your wishes will come true! 'Cinderella Pumpkin' has deep orange, large flattened fruits that can weigh up to 20 pounds. It has a very mild pumpkin flavor. As with most pumpkins it has grainy flesh that is best puréed before adding to recipes. 

 

This beautiful French heirloom is known as Rouge Vif d'Etampes in France. It was introduced to the United States by W. Atlee & Burpee in 1883 under the name Cinderella Pumpkin. Also known as Bright Red Etampes.

 

Sowing Squash Seeds:

 

Sow seeds in hills 1 inch deep after the last frost date.  Space hills 4–6 feet apart. Thinned to 2 plants per hill. Full sun.
