Cucumber 'Poona Kheera' is an Indian variety with light green fruits. The flavor is mild, and it's best for eating fresh. The fully mature fruits turn brown with artistic crackling skin. At this point, they are best for seeds and not eating.


Sowing Cucumber Seeds:


Sow seeds outdoors after the last frost date, 1/2 inch deep. Or start indoors 3 weeks before the last frost date. Sow in hills 4–6 feet apart or in rows 2 feet apart. Thin to 3 plants per hill. Full sun.
