    Less bitterness than other cucumbers

Boston Pickling seems to be the best cucumber for my high altitude, Utah desert garden. I've tried other varieties, including National Pickling, but they tend to go bitter more often. Boston Pickling retains its quality even when the fruits are much larger than pickling size. I use it as a slicing cucumber.
