Kale 'Lacinato' has large 18-inch long leaves that are a beautiful, deep blue-green. They are best eaten when small. This 18th-century Italian heirloom has a mild flavor. It is also known as Dinosaur kale when you are trying to tempt picky children to eat it.
Sowing Kale Seeds:
Sow seeds outdoors 2–4 weeks before the last frost date to summer. Sow 1/4 inch deep. Full sun to part shade.
