Cabbage 'Savoy'

300 seeds. 90 days. Brassica oleracea. Biennial.

Cabbage 'Savoy' has a mild flavor with unique crinkled leaves that holds up well to cooking compared to ordinary cabbage. The texture of the leaves change from the outer and inner. The outer leaves can be used as vegetable wraps, while the inner leaves are great for coleslaw or sauerkraut. Savoy is the most beautiful cabbage I have ever grown. This Italian heirloom dates back to the 1500s.

Spacing 12–18 inches.

Sowing Cabbage Seeds:

Sow seeds indoors 8–12 weeks before the last frost date, 1/4 inch deep. Transplant 3 weeks before the last frost date. Space 12–18 inches apart. Full sun.
